Interview with Jeanet Groenewoud
Q: What is your favorite shoot you've ever done?
A: My favorite shoots are in flower gardens, I love flowers and it gives you time to rest, get into yourself and experimenting with the lenses. There is a lot to choose in the garden and it gives me a time to relax. Also like to photograph in the woods, the serenity, the darkness, shades of green.
Q: What inspires you to reach for your camera?
Q: What are your favorite Lensbaby Lenses to use in your session?
A: LB velvet 56 mm, I love the softness and it is great for macro. The Sweet 35 also for macro, gives great Soft Focus and bokeh. And the Sol 45 is surprise lens, it is sharp, the effects are great and it is handy to put the blades a side if you do not want to use them.

Q: How did you hear about Lensbaby, and what encouraged you to purchase a LB lens?
A: I hear and saw photo,s of Andrea Gulickx and I went several years to her workshops. After that I hooked on LB lenses and now I own a lot of them.
Q:What was your journey to becoming a photographer like?
A: My journey.... I am sick I have fibromialgie and before photographing I was a dog trainer. When that did not went well because of my illness I bought a camera. I took pictures when we were on holidays so I liked it. I went to several courses and workshops after that, and after some years I started my own business ( just by my self) now for 6 years I do give workshops and have a small webshop with vintage and used LB lenses.
Q: What is your favorite subject to photograph and how would you describe your photography style?
A: My favorite are flowers and animals and landscapes. My style is soft, minus sharpness and creative. With animals I prefer to make nice compositions sometimes capturing funny moments. Landscapes I prefer creative style, using textures or icm.
