Keep your optic protected and swap it out with this handy tool.
If you've lost the Lensbaby Optic Swap Tool/Container that came with one of your Lensbaby optics, simply replace it with this clear plastic storage container capped with a Lensbaby Optic Swap Tool. The Optic Swap Tool is used to remove the Creative Aperture, Double Glass, Single Glass, Plastic, Pinhole/ Zone Plate, Soft Focus, and Fisheye Optics.

Much more compact than the older optic containers, but the tool side doesn’t work with all optics (specifically, you’ll still need the old container/optic tool to remove the fisheye optic from your composer)
This isn't quite the same as the old optic swap tool which was an entire case with a black bottom with 3 spokes on the inside to remove the older optics. This newer version is as pictured one solid piece of plastic. The 3 spokes or knobs are on the bottom outside to remove the older optics such as double glass and single glass optic. It's solidly made but if I drop it I can see that a knob could crack off thus I ordered 2. It works removing the older optics that use the 3 knob or spoke removal tool as I have a double glass optic and it removed it nicely from a Composer Pro. I tested my double glass optic and it fit the cover. At $10 a piece a little pricey but I guess if you need it worth the cost and it is well made and less bulky than the older design. I have uploaded some pics. You can see it attaches to the back half of the optic and the lens cover serves to protect the front lens. You could also use a microfiber bag or small neoprene bag to protect you optic but I needed the removal tool so decided to purchase these as I also bought a Sweet 80 optic from Lensbaby. Lensbaby was kind enough to gift a small micro fiber cloth with my Sweet 80 which I can store in the end of the cover. Happy with purchase and I hope this helps other Lensbaby enthusiasts using optics.
