About
I live in Cardiff, Wales, UK, with my husband and our two daughters. After my PhD in Cosmology, I spent a decade compiling crosswords for puzzle magazines before discovering my love for photography. During lockdown, I found myself picking up my camera more and more as a creative outlet to support my mental well-being, and it quickly became a passion. I worked hard to master the craft, refine my skills, and develop a unique creative voice. Now, working as a photographer and photography mentor, I find immense joy in sharing my knowledge, skills, and passion with the community.
My work is a blend of nature, storytelling, and creativity, showcasing the beauty of our world through the use of colour, light, and blur in my ethereal, pretty style. It doesn’t fit neatly into a box, and I love that! While I’m drawn to all kinds of nature and capturing my children, I also shoot food, still life, street photography, astrophotography, the occasional self-portrait, and honestly, anything that sparks my inspiration! I love incorporating creative techniques into my photography to craft unique and enchanting images. You’ll often find me freelensing, reverse freelensing, creating double exposures, shooting through objects, experimenting with light and colour overlays and, of course, using my beloved Lensbaby lenses and accessories.
Camera Bag

Velvet 56
Beyond the gorgeous ethereal tones and glow the Velvets create, I especially love the Velvet 56 for its incredibly versatility. With its 1:2 macro capabilities, it allows me to capture everything from fragile butterflies and bees, to expressive portraits, delicious food, and glorious landscapes.
Edge 35
I love how the edges subtly highlight your subject, framing it with soft blur. When used at a tilt, the lens pushes the boundaries of convention, creating a unique slice of focus that extends deep into the frame. The 35mm is my favourite; it’s perfect for sweeping landscapes, dynamic street scenes and compelling environmental portraits.
OMNI Color Expansion Kit
I love the magic that the OMNI crystals and films can weave into my images. The spectacle of colours and interesting fractal patterns created can define the mood as well as strengthen the composition and storytelling. Every shift in angle yields a new result so the possibilities are endless and every image is truly one-of-a-kind.
