Lensbaby Unplugged Member of the Week
Interview with Tasha Eldridge
Q: What is your favorite shoot you've ever done?
A: I really love nature and flowers. I like getting up close to capture small details, or capturing movement with intentional blur. Flowers don't run away (like my kids do), so that also puts them in my "favorites" category.
Q: What inspires you to reach for your camera?
Q: What are your favorite Lensbaby Lenses to use in your session?
A: I actually only have one! The Sol45. It is a great multipurpose lens. I have extension tubes and reverse freelens so spark my creativity.
Q: How did you hear about Lensbaby, and what encouraged you to purchase a LB lens?
A: I heard about it a few years ago and loved the idea of a tilt lens because I crave unique and artistic imagery.
Q:What was your journey to becoming a photographer like?
A: It's been fun and exciting! Also expensive, which is why I love how many different ways I can use 1 single lensbaby lens!
Q: What is your favorite subject to photograph and how would you describe your photography style?
A: Macro flower photography is my jam! My style is "give me all the bokeh & lens flare".
Q: What do you love the most about photography?
A: Being creative, breaking the rules, and seeing an idea come to life.
Q: What helps you when you're struggling with a creative block?
A: I follow a lot of talented folks on social media, so seeing their art often gets me inspired.
Q: Would you consider yourself an adventurous photographer, or do you tend to stay in your comfort zone?
A: Adventurous! As I said before, I love breaking the rules of photography. It's fun and scratches the creative itch that that I have.
Q: What else would you like to see from Lensbaby in the future?
A: I'm not sure.
