Interview with Ellie
Q: What is your favorite shoot you've ever done?
A: I like to work with multiple exposure and Lensbaby because the softness, the mood. And I like to letting see normal things in a very different way. I like to experiment with new ideas and with abstraction, so you see things in a new way.
Q: What inspires you to reach for your camera?
Q: What are your favorite Lensbaby Lenses to use in your session?
A: My favorite Lensbaby Lenses are the Sweet lenses, I own the Sweet 35 and the Sweet 50. Also I have the Obscure 16 lens, also a wonderful but difficult lens.
Q: How did you hear about Lensbaby, and what encouraged you to purchase a LB lens?
A: Back in 2014 I saw images of Andrea Gulickx, I did a workshop with her and I was allowed to use her Lensbaby Lenses. The moment I had the Sweet 50 on my camera, I was hooked. I love Lensbaby Lenses.
Q:What was your journey to becoming a photographer like?
A: I'm always trying renew myself in my images. Lensbaby Lenses give me the pleasure to see things different, to give my own mood to the images.
Q: What is your favorite subject to photograph and how would you describe your photography style?
A: My favorite subject to photograph are small flowers and/or leaves. My photography style is soft, colorful with a easy mood.

Q: What do you love the most about photography?
A: When I photograph I lose myself in the images I'm making. I forget what's going on in my surrounding, and do not think about other things. I like to create images which in real life do not exist, and I do this by working with Lensbaby lenses and multiple exposure.
Q: What helps you when you're struggling with a creative block?
A: Reading about photographing and leave the camera in my camera bag for a few days, then, the ideas will come again.

Q: Would you consider yourself an adventurous photographer, or do you tend to stay in your comfort zone?
A: I do not consider myself as an adventurous photographer, I alsways try to step out of my comfort zone. I do so because I want to challenge myself to make different images.
Q: What else would you like to see from Lensbaby in the future?
A: I would like to see and ultra macro lens from Lensbaby, I think that's intruiging to make interesting images.
