Inspiration can be a tease. It hides when we go looking, then jumps into our face the moment before we completely give up. We learn to be patient, with our senses always alert, because inspiration is elusive. We don’t only find inspiration in the breathtaking, magnificent and sublime. We also find inspiration in the ordinary, the everyday and the cliche.
