About
My name is Stephanie and I was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico. I’ve always had a camera in my hand, but I really started getting into photography around 2008 while in college and went full-time in 2017. Creating photos and watching people come to life in front of my camera is a feeling I wouldn’t change for the world.
I would describe my photographic style as whimsical, authentic and colorful! I always try to make sure the subject will pop out of the photo with a burst of color or unposed movement. I love capturing the moments between the poses when subjects are just being themselves.
I also enjoy creating toy photography as a side hobby. I found that I could use similar lighting and posing techniques to bring my favorite characters to life in ways that aren’t normally possible because of the fandoms and worlds they reside. I love being a storyteller and being able to create stories from characters that already have a backstory really drew me into the world of toy photography.
I’m currently living in New Mexico with my two cats, Jasmine and Ella, but traveling is my passion. I want to be able to experience new culture and document life as I live in that moment. A few other random facts about me: I love coconut iced coffee. I have a passion for thrifting and collecting old film cameras. Lensbaby was one of the first companies I bought gear from in 2011. And when I’m not behind my camera or on the road, you can find me on my couch streaming Disney+ or reading a fantasy book.

Edge 50
I love the Composer Pro II with the Edge 50 optic because it’s the perfect all around lens. I use it for my portraits and creating beautiful lens flares around the subject. It’s also great for travel and creating fun effects with landscapes.
OMNI Creative Filter System
I love adding little lens flares with my portraiture and giving them a sense of sparkle. With the Omni effects, being able to say you did all the effects in-camera is just a fun way to add that extra touch of magic while out shooting.
Velvet 85
This lens is my go-to for toy photography. With the ability to capture such small toys and make them big on screen and still hold the beautiful compression in the background is what really draws my in with this lens.
