Inside Bianca's Camera Bag
This year I bought my first Lensbaby, the Composer Pro with the Sweet 35 Optic and Double Glass Optic, and of course the Macro Converters. I had so much fun with these that I also bought the Twist 60 Optic and a kit too (second hand). In this kit are the Plastic Optic, Pinhole Optic, Single Glass Optic and also the Double Glass Optic.
I can say that at this moment, the double glass optic is my favorite. With the double glass, I can create a dreamy, fairytale effect with a lot of bubbly bokeh that I really love. In the Fall you see a lot of fungis. They are so sweet. Every time I go out for a walk in the forest, Im searching for the smallest ones, because I like to create a small fairytale. Not just taking a picture of fungi, but creating a small story. To find these tiny friends, you must go closer to the ground. Mostly you will find them on old trees or between the moss.
When I find them, I think about how to create the most fairytale-like effect and then decide which optic is the best one to use. After that, its all about the composition, the position of your camera and playing with the light. When I have found the best of those factors, then I tilt the Composer Pro into the correct position to get the best focus on the subject.
