I think photography was a natural transition for me from music. I've been producing electronic music since 2005, and was always around visual and video art. I started experimenting with my own photography around 2013, and then became fully involved in video production in 2015.
My subject is abstract. Sometimes deep or dark. Sometimes something hidden. The lives of people and environment the way I see it. I like to set a scene and composition making sure the light and other details reflect the way I see the world, and how I want to present it.
I own three Lensbaby lenses - Sweet 35, Trio 28, and Sol 22. Every lens is unique and has its own style. An art project called "Life with Sweet 35" was my very first experiment with Lensbaby. I think Trio 28 is my favorite, for its unique triple effects and ability to mix elements of two lenses at the same time. It has a cool vintage feel and works very well with digital 4K cameras. It also gives some natural film effect.
When it comes to photography and videography its important to know basics and keep learning. You must know the rules to then know how to break them in some creative way! I just take the camera and follow my instincts. Just be yourself. Do it the way you see it! Everyone is unique and has their own style. After years and years of practice and many experiments, my motto is we create to inspire creation.
