Ute Reckhorn in Paris with Twist 60
During Ute Reckhorn’s Paris visit, she captured not just the look but the soul of the city using Twist 60. Ute’s La Vie Enchantee collection adds an elegant upgrade to the traditional notion of travel photography.
About La Vie Enchantee
Walking the fall-colored streets of Paris was a dream come true for me. To do it with the Twist 60 was like turning my visual concepts into fluent French. The one thing I really enjoy about all Lensbaby lenses is that they slow me down. Of course, that sounds like a contradiction when you think about street photography where speed is everything for many photographers.
To catch the spirit of the City of Lights, my approach was to wander the streets and just take it all in. It was essentially like a yoga class while living life the French way. The more I slow down in my photography, the more I can focus on how a place feels to me and express these emotions. This approach also makes me see the light in a very intuitive way. It’s almost like music that makes me dance.
