I was super excited to put my hands on the Sol 45. The lens for the Nikon Z mount is significantly larger compared to the F mount version, but still a relatively small, easy to use and very intuitive tilt shift lens. The bokeh blades add a fun, swirly background blur to the image but I honestly, I prefer the simple setup without the blades which has a nice, smooth and dreamy look. I had a lot of fun playing around, taking creative shots with sun flare or going really dark with the background. The lens is sharp but manual focusing can be a challenge first for those who are new to it. But it worth the time to play around with it and experiment or to go super artsy. I love my new Lensbaby and recommend it to everyone who would like to have a lens with character.
Enjoyed your well designed product very much, easy to use and having fun using it. I have a mirrorless camera and I use focus peaking, focusing is no problem. I've used it with extension tubes and got great macro images, also used it with a flash, no problem. I also have your Velvet 85mm, two fun lenses. Thanks for making great products.
