I’m pleased with the Lensbaby Optic Swap Case (Large), however, I wish the interior design was more like a traditional camera case. The interior is designed to fit a couple Lensbaby lenses and 3 or 4 optics, but it was a challenge to actually fit all that into the case without some of them touching each other, which is a concern. I like the case, just wish the interior had a little different layout.
I decided to have a small version of the cases. Two of them. Each holds either the set of the three Sweet or three Edge lens elements. Since I update the Composer at one point (which I never have regret to do so), each case has its own Composer. So, each is a ready to go kit. The cases even can hold one of the (older) optics containers, which allows for a nice mix and match with the new "clear rear cap" (AKA Optical Swap Tool) are possible. I have (also) the older, much smaller versions of the soft cases, but even it is possible to get the Sweet 35 with filter adapter into it, it was just not sitting well with me. The quality of all parts of this new case is great, and the craft-wo-men–ship of it is certainly better than one would expect for a special case at this price range. It is pretty stable, yet not clunky like a hard plastic case. I'm certainly thinking about one or two more of these for the Scout and the Muse. Yes, I love to have it organized and ready to go—nothing worse than having them in a large case and search for stuff: I like to "focus" on my art instead. Overall, I'm happy about these. Thank you, LB.
