poor quality
I purchased this as a christmas gift for my husband. It is all plastic and the optics can slide around in the swivel holder, making it difficult to focus. If this was a $20 toy lens they quality would be OK. At nearly $400 this is a total rip off. In fact it is more than some of his "real" sony lenses cost. I wasn't expecting like, leica or hasselblad quality, but surely these can compete with stuff from best buy given the price and simplicity? That, and the lack of impressiveness on the artistic effect, means we just shipped it back. WARNING! You are on the hook for return shipping with these guys, too!

Practice makes this gem sing!
The lens is smooth and ideal for portraits in small spaces. The flexibility of focal plane and associated effect takes practice to become fluid, but it’s a great tool in the arsenal!
