Making the ordinary, extraordinary

We tend to turn our lens towards the things with obvious beauty – flowers, sunsets, puppies. However, the more interesting shots are often the different or even imperfect ones. There’s a rewarding challenge in capturing everyday (even boring) objects and transforming them into works of art. Food photographer, Karen Burns makes the ordinary look extraordinary in this series of kitchenware and utensils shot with the Sweet 35 and macro filters.
