Soft Glow
"Spherical aberration caused the soft glow in vintage lenses and has been designed out in many modern lenses, except for Lensbaby lenses. The Velvets are the softies and the Velvet 28 more so than the 56 or 85. That said the lens does get sharp enough and is a gem for landscape images near dawn or dusk."
