The new Lensbaby Muse PL opens up new vistas in motion picture image capture. The first PL mount lens with interchangeable optics, the Muse PL allows you to switch quickly from the tack sharp Double Glass optic to a dreamy and ethereal plastic optic or the vintage-feeling single glass optic.
The Muse PL works directly on 16mm or 35mm PL mount motion picture cameras and is best for a fast and loose shooting style where the Sweet Spot of sharp focus moves freely across the scene.
You can use SLR mount Lensbaby lenses on many video cameras, but you will need an SLR lens-to-video camera adapter. A list of these adapters can be found under SPECS below.
Focus the Muse PL by compressing the lens manually. Sweep the Sweet Spot around the frame by tilting the lens. You can bend and compress the Lensbaby Muse PL freely for spontaneous, selective focus effects to create unprecedented and imaginative footage.

Photographers can mount the full range of Lensbaby's 37mm threaded accessories onto the front of the Muse PL, including our wide angle and telephoto conversion kit, 0.42x Superwide Angle lens, and macro kit, along with 37mm step up rings, filters, and hoods. The Lensbaby Creative Aperture Kit can also be used with the Muse PL.
