A unique PL mount lens with interchangeable optics, the Composer Pro PL allows you to switch quickly from the tack sharp Sweet 35 Optic to a slice of focus with the Edge 80 Optic or to the vintage-feeling Single Glass Optic. The Composer Pro PL ships with the Sweet 35 Optic installed. The Sweet 35 delivers a sweet spot of sharp focus that can be move around the frame by tilting the Composer Pro PL. This 35mm selective focus optic with a 12-blade iris and a minimum focus distance of 7.5" features the widest focal length of any selective focus Lensbaby optic.
The Composer Pro PL works directly on PL mount professional motion picture cameras.
Tilt or swivel the Composer Pro PL to move the Sweet Spot then rotate the manual focusing ring to bring your subject into focus. The ball joint and locking ring design allows the lens to automatically stay in its bent position.
To move the lens more easily, simply loosen the tension of locking ring. Tighten the locking ring to keep the lens in position for longer or repeated exposures.
The Composer Pro features a unique manual focus design which requires more rotation to move the optic as you approach infinity. This makes it easier to focus on objects at intermediate and distant depths than regular manual focus lenses.
