Lens Baby

The Lensbaby 3GPL is the right choice for shots when you want to lock the tilt and fix your Sweet Spot of sharp focus on one part of the frame. You can also use the Lensbaby 3GPL in 'free mode' to swing and tilt the lens freely while shooting.

The Lensbaby 3GPL works directly on 16mm or 35mm PL mount motion picture cameras. You can use SLR mount Lensbaby lenses on many video cameras, but you will need an SLR lens-to-video camera adapter. A list of these adapters can be found under SPECS below.

The Lensbaby 3GPL has the Double Glass Optic installed. You cannot switch the optics as you can with the Lensbaby Muse PL.

Focus the 3GPL by compressing and bending the lens manually. The area of focus can be locked into a fixed position by pressing a button. Then, using a traditional manual focus mechanism, you can follow focus or fine-tune the focus at a fixed position. You can also bend and compress the Lensbaby 3GPL freely—without locking—for a spontaneous, selective focus effect.

Lensbaby 3GPL can be used on certain models of video cameras using several PL or SLR lens to video camera adapters such as the P+S Technik, Redrock M2, Brevis35, Letus35, and SGpro.

Photographers can mount a variety of 37mm or 52mm threaded accessories onto the front of the Lensbaby 3GPL, including the Lensbaby wide angle and telephoto conversion lenses, 0.42x Super Wide angle lens as well as 3rd party filters and hoods. The Lensbaby Creative Aperture Kit can also be used with the Lensbaby 3GPL.
Please note: The Lensbaby Macro Kit will not work on the Lensbaby 3GPL.
