Cherie Steinberg is a photographer whose passion has been traveling the world and photographing people. Cherie began her photography career as a photojournalist at The Toronto Sun newspaper in Toronto, Canada. She had the distinction of being the first female photographer at the Sun, where she was also honored with Canada’s equivalent of the National Endowment for the Arts Award.
In her international travels to over 40 countries, she has captured extraordinary images which have appeared in countless publications — most recently in Grace Ormonde, The L.A. Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Bride & Bloom Magazine, Los Angeles Weddings, Studio Design & Photography, Towne & Country, Professional Photographers and Rangefinder. Some of her clients include Disney, Nikon, Random House and Entertainment Tonight.
Cherie has been asked to speak for Nikon starting in January 2008 and will be sharing her work and techniques at several trade shows.
At the beginning of her recent photography career in LA, the Original Lensbaby helped Cherie define a style and look for her wedding and portrait photographs.
