All Lensbaby lenses will work with teleconverters that do not have have optics that protrude into the back of the lens (the Nikon and Canon TCs all have such protruding optics I believe). With Canon there are some camera bodies that will see the TC and look for electronic signals coming from the lens. These bodies will not shoot if you have a lens that does not have electronics in it on the front of the teleconverter. To get around this error message you need to rotate the TC slightly away from the locked position and use a piece of tape to hold it in place since you don't want your lens to fall off of your camera and the locking pin on the mount cannot be engaged without causing a shooting error to occur.
The Tamron SP Pro 1.4x is my favorite (my only) TC. It is extremely sharp and does not have optics that protrude forward of the front mount. Craig You could not step twice into the same rivers; for other waters are ever flowing on to you. Heraclitus of Ephesus |
