I haven't posted for a while. From what I remember, I used to be able to post several images in one message. Just now I could only post one at a time. Have I forgotten something?

I have found that if you go back to your original post and click "edit", you can then add another image.

Don't post your thread, just select a photo and wait. It silently uploads, and when it's done, you can Browse for another photo. When all your pics are attached, just post as you normally would.
