hey, i just got my lensbaby muse today in the mail. i didn't get an insert about how to set up the camera for optimal performance. any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to access the settings menu and turn off the setting that prevents the shutter releasing when a lens is not fitted - the default is 'on' - be careful not to trip the shutter with a lens off, it will not damage the camera but could allow dust and other crap to get on the sensor.
set camera to manual focus and use on either manual seting or aperture priority - remember that you do the focusing!
