Lensbaby

Hi everyone,

this is a shot of my friend Davinder taken at night in Leeds




the set up is....

off camera flash to the left of the shot
Lensbaby V2 with Star aperture fitted
Canon 5D

at F4 the sweet spot id pretty small, and with there being little ambient light here (all the light you can see is from the flash) it's incredibly hard to get the focus correct.

I've managed to get it sharp on the edge of his glasses..

Anyway - I've posted this on a site where Lensbabies are not that well known, loved, understood, apprecieate etc. etc. and it's bombed completely.

I love it, the pose is spot on, the softness I love, but so I was wondering if it's just me that likes it and the other site is correct, or whether they're just a little blinkered

If one is not Bent, then "they" must be a little blinkered ......

Just keep Bending what you enjoy, it matters not what others think ......most aRt is rarely understood on it's own terms or perspective ......it's reflective of how you see life nothing more and so that's the true value of your aRt.

This capture turned out realy cool.
