I like the result. The texture layer really enhanced the artistic interpretation of the original image. Whether it is done on purpose or not but the hot spots in the central area keep my eyes within the frame.

Hey thanks ollie and igor. There was no fire! It was created using photoshop Cs3 and textures. The hot spots I created using the dodge tool to brighten and draw the eye to the supposed flames. Thanks again - jimmy
