Lensbaby

I am looking for a wildlife image to enter into our State Wildlife Magazine.... they alway like to see something out of the ordinary... but they like things in sharp focus.... Please tell me what you think of this image...... good or bad and any suggestions for improvement.

Shot with the 3G on a 5D at probably F 5.6 with a very slight crop.

I like the idea of the image, the bright edges on the top pull me away from the bees though. If there were a way to eliminate the bright area and add some contrast to the bees maybe?
