rusteer, are you shooting wide open? The lens gets much sharper with aperture discs. Also, you will be able to attain the sharpest focus on whatever is in the center of the lens. If composition requires subjects being near the edge, you either accept the softness, or crop accordingly.
I have poor eyesight, and cannot focus at all without live view and a hood, when outdoors esp. I love the playful mood here, which the lens exaggerates. ____________________________ Victoria Bell My Flickr Photostream |
