While shooting with my new macro lenses, I had an idea to intentionally shoot out of their range as a kind of an experiment. Naturally, the shot produces all blur, but it's kind of an interesting blur I think. Curious whether others thing this is a nice effect or not so much. Regardless, it really seems to be true that Lensbaby reawakens the sense of creativity and WONDER in shooting. I feel like I'm back when I first discovered the joys of macro some 3 years ago!
Shots 1 and 2 are of a flowering tree. Shot #3 is of the top part of a regular tree.
Appreciate the feedback, especially on these experiments.

Hi John - glad you're having fun with your Lensbaby. I think #3 in this series would make a nice, calming wallpaper for your computer desktop.
