I got my first Lensbaby 3wks ago..... I love it, so two days later I ordered "more" stuff, I find myself using the macro kit the most (on Double glass, composer Pro). the entire process of focussing, selecting/moving the "sharp" point is very relaxing. (and flowers don't complain, if it takes a little longer :) )

These are really nice images. I love the delicate nature of #4. There's a temptation to close up the black and white points on all images. You chose not to do this, instead leaving it in a more muted midrange. Very good. I also really like #5. This puts the sweet spot of the Lensbaby to good use since the blurred flowers are close to the same plane of focus as the subject. #5 is probably an impossible shot with a normal lens.
#1 and #2 are a little soft for my taste. While the colors are great on #2, the subject could be sharper. Hope this helps. |

Wow, if this is your first attempt, you're going to be doing great things in no time!#4 is just gorgeous. You have a really nice sharp sweet spot, beautiful muted color and blur. the only thing I think would improve this is moving your focal point off center.
