During the dark December days Gouda's gothic city hall is projected in artificial light.
The patterns change every five minutes and are a joy to watch.

Wow! Great idea! These really jump out at you and the colors are incredible. I think a plastic optic wide open or with a big aperture would also create an interesting effect.
