I'm new here. Just thought I'd jump in and post some images and introduce myself. I got my Composer about a week before Christmas and have been having a lot of fun getting to know it. Lots to learn yet and definitely room for improvement. Critiques are more than welcome.

PS Question: When I upload photos and the drop down box says to select your lensbaby, what do I select for the Composer? I don't see that option. Thanks!

I like the variety in your first collection of image posts. Love the caboose! Welcome to the forum. Look forward to seeing more of your Composer work.

Toni.....filling in the boxes is not a big deal, just an option for folks to understand what models and optics were used to create the art with....could be helpful for those starting out.

Looks like you've been out and about having some fun .

Welcome and it looks like you are off to a nice start. I really am drawn to your BW images especially. Nice sweet spot selection and processing.

Welcome Toni,
Looks like you are on your way for great images. I love the ice on #6. If you are like me, you can learn a lot from this forum. The photographers here are some really talented folks.

Nice range of topics and processing - great introduction. I like #2 the best (I'm having a bit of a minimal-colour phase at the moment) - personally I would bump the contrast slightly on the mono's, although that's by no means a criticism - I just like high contrast mono!.

Well placed sweetspot throughout.

David - thanks! I'm gravitating to more and more b&w. I participated in a b&w challenge in November and really liked the results. Finding the sweet spot continues to be a challenge for me - I think I miss more than I find.
Jad - thank you. Seems like some really friendly folks here as well talented.
Matt - thanks for your comment on the contrast. I had tried a higher contrast when I was processing these b&ws and found I preferred a more natural look for them. I'm trying to back off on how much adjustments I make - I have a tendency to over do things. :)
