Greetings,

I've been experimenting with the 3G and having lots of fun in the process. It looks like the Lens Baby will be a useful tool and definitely rekindles the passion for making photos.

I've enjoyed browsing this forum and thanks to all for sharing photos and feedback.

Happy Holidays!
Michael

Really like #2 and #3. The LB definitely causes the old juices to flow.

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome and for pointing out which of the photos resonate. Much of my personal work is produced just for the joy of the process then tossed aside so it really is nice to hear what works for others.

Images 2,3 and 4 were taken on a recent trip to Valladolid, Mexico and I must give credit to that interesting old city for providing the inspiration to try out the Lensbaby. I'm still not entirely comfortable with the physical operation of this new (to me) tool. I find myself squishing it around trying to find that sweet spot and struggling a bit, but this may be due to my failing eyesight. The good news is I've begun to look at things a little differently now and I'm asking myself, " would the Lensbaby work for this shot?"

It's really good to hear from you, and trust that I've been enjoying your images as well.

Michael
