Paul, I like this set of images a lot.

The Lensbaby does so well on images like #2, where one gets to see both in focus and out-of-focus textures. Also, great sweet spot on the eyes in #3.

Thanks all, this was just a selection from my older stuff, was away from the site for quite a while.

Just toying on the thoughts of cutting a few custom apertures, found some material now just need a hobby Knife :)

Really nice set of images.

Oh yes! Image #1 is terrific! What's he doing? Lighting a cigarette? Blowing his nose? Crying? Eating a watermelon? (no, probably not that one) Has he just been visiting the bones of a friend? Enemy? Where's the door lead? Sanctuary? Sanctity? Will he go in, or turn? Turn left? Right?

So many questions and, for the restless mind, so many more possible answers. I love such Delphic photographs. They're a wonderful affirmation of the widely ungrasped truth that a photograph ought to be a means to an end, and not an end unto itself.

Plus it has an unruly William Klein anti-photography "screw you" disposition as a bonus.
