These were shot infrared with LB 3G on a converted Nikon D200, then digitally hand colored.

Nice... looks like model railroad scenery.

Great shots. I also like #2 the best. A strong image even w/o the lb effect.

I really like #2 as well. I don't know if it was your intent, but I find #2 to have a melancholy feel to it. Just my impression. Very nicely done.

Sorry for the delayed reply. #2 was meant to be melancholy, a bit of the "lost age of the railroad" intent behind it. Something I've been working on with the LB is getting closer to the subject. I love landscape shots with the LB but #2 shows why you need to get closer to the subject.

Great shots! I just charged up the Fuji UVIR and am hoping to get some LBIR shots this weekend.

I'd have to say, I'm digging #3 the most.

I agree #2 is exceptional. The other 2 are great also.

Very nice set! I am curious about the digital handcoloring... what is your method? I have handcolored but not digitally. Thanks!

I've been swamped so the replies are few and far between. Sorry about that. To answer Va girl's question about the hand coloring. I use a tablet in PS, set the bush to overlay and paint away. I will adjust the various settings to control how much color is applied.

Thanks everyone for the comments, it looks like its almost unanimous that #2 is the favorite!
