As soon as you pick the flower, the decay starts. Not many days after, the flower is thrown out, never to be seen again. I had to make an image, not to forget...

Ironic really, isn't it. Look at something beautiful, then take it away from it's location and kill it. Wouldn't sell many flowers as an advertising by-line!

Lovely shot, I think the treatment nicely emphasises the decay.

Thank you Sus, Matt, Keith and Rich. For your info the "treatment" is a three light setup.
Lighting info: Behind flower left is a snooted Sunpak P42X. Gridded, aimed at the bacground is a Sigma 530 EX. For fill light a Sunpak P42X is used through a Westcott umbrella.

Got the two Sunpaks yesterday. A cheap solution for full E-TTLII flashes. Recomended. (I used them on manual though)

A little tweaking in Lightroom, but not much.
