Some shots from Paris earlier this year. This was my first real experiment with an edge 80 together with some original optic shots.

This is my first post so please critique, Its a hobby but I want to improve.

Some nice composition on these. For the shot of the row of trees, it looks like you sat or squatted to get a good angle, which makes the trees loom bigger and IMO your viewpoint added a lot to that shot. The lighting on the bicycle shot is pleasantly warm too. I also like how you captured the person crossing the street in the 5th shot, and is that a little white dog following him/her? I can't quite tell. It's too bad you couldn't get a little closer for that shot, but c'est la vie.

Thanks Niefol, good to get some comments and someone else's perspective on these. Yes it is a dog and short of jumping off the bridge closer wasn't an option????

I figured there was a reason. Even if you did jump, you would have been run over by mopeds, which presumably did not appeal to you either.

Well, you can't go wrong in Paris, right? Sounds very romantic to a midwestern girl in the farm belt.

I really like the miniature, #5
