yes, it is a '65 fender start. this guitar is owned by blues guitarist kelly richey. there wasn't a scratch on the guitar when she bought it 30 years ago--- all the wear is from her playing. if you like blues/rock check her out on the web-- she is AMAZING!!!!

That's about the same age as my husbands! His has much wear as well! I feel really old now because he had that guitar when we married and that was over 30 years ago as well... Hopefully I faired better than the guitars - lol.
