what other mundane object can i find, but the weather hasn't been cooperating so i keep snapping the old shutter at whatever!

shot wide open with 16mm macro, i shone an led flashlight through the bottom for fun.

Feeling a bit of cabin fever there Photosnod...keep it together, this time shall pass. Nice photos BTW.

My son complained of what he termed my "lazyboy" photos I took learning to use my new digital SLR this winter, but the weather was a bit too cold for this arthritic dude. Operating the SLR is pretty much a done deal and the weather is, thankfully, much better.

Well today it was -6 Celsius and by next Monday the forecast calls for +26 Celsius !!
That's the unpredictable weather of the Canadian prairies!
Soon I will be out snappin'
