Snow Drops, heavy emphases on the snow part anyway ! Having to buy spring flowers to shoot as everything is still covered in snow here and I am too impatient to wait for real spring to arrive !

Sorry I flutter in and out of the site , but I recently started teaching photography a few months ago and have been overwhelmed by the response. I am doing one on one sessions and have been booked solid from Jan.3 till the end of May right now. very little time to post let alone take photos !!

It is very rewarding though seeing through their fresh eyes as they come into photography it really has helped expand my vision as well !!

Used the 4x macro with wide angle stacked.

Wonderful highkey image! Delicate and beautiful; #2 is my favorite.

Shooting indoors is not all that bad; I enjoy it a lot due to the controls I have without the hassles of wind, heat, cold, etc. At my age table top macro allows me the enjoyment I get from the medium with the stress. I still go forth into nature when I can to find the wild flowers in the summer.

I learned a tool for this kind of photography from Bob Moats. Take an out of focus photo of lush grass and have a matte print made at 11X20 or 20X30 and use it for a background in your tabletop photography. One advantage is that, just like a white or black background, you can use a smaller aperture.

God said, "Let there be light," and it was so....

Lorna,

A great triptych these would make. Very nice work. And best wishes to you on your one-on-one teaching!
