posted by Outback	Satsop Nuclear Plant Abandoned during construction in the 1980s due to lack of funding and taxpayer revolt by the 'Irate Rate Payers'. Parts were eventually stripped leaving only the concrete hulks behind as a testament to the folly of man. Image 1 Cooling tower and support building. Image 2 Close up of catwalk exterior cooling tower Image 3 What would have been the reactor containment building if it had ever been completed. I played with this one in post-processing.
