You are making me realize I have not gotten out to take some autumn photos yet. John, love the use of the foreground trees to frame the glassy surface of the still water. That looks so peaceful - makes me want to hop in a canoe and explore.

Baladine - plastic was an excellent optic choice for that subject matter. Adds to the mood of the photo.

It's a beautiful day here in the Midwest - you two have inspired me to set aside some time to day to take my Lensbaby on an Autumn walk!

If my eyes don't deceive me (and they often do...), you've got a bit of back-focusing going on here and it works oh-so-well. There's a lovely subtle ring effect in the botton-center (and a touch to the left) of the image that coincides wonderfully with the composition. Keeps the dock and ropes(?) in the foreground in focus and hints at sharpness on the far shore.
