Very nice shots - I liked the thatch roofs, so carefully constructed. Although I don't know if I'd like to spend a winter in one!

Hi Lincol,
Thank you. :) Yes, those trunks in the shade are beehives. There were few on the tree even, can u imagine? More of the beehives are in the yard infront of the house. The whole museum contains 300 pieces of folk arcitecture, and brought from different parts of Ukraine. Here is few more photos of beehives and part of the old village. |

The place is really beautiful. The territory is really big so in the hot weather you need to take lots of water with you to walk around the whole place, or take a little golf car as I did. It drove us (group of ppl) for 1 hour, 12 km. But we had only three stopes for 5 min each or less :( . The only place i entered was the wooden church (1872), it's on the 5th photo. |
