A guy up the road from me, Old Fred, collects antique Mack trucks and is the president of the Antique Trucks Association. This was from my first visit to his incredible junkyard and now that I've established a relationship I'm hoping to go back a lot more.

Been fascinated with vintage vehicles lately myself. Great find, hope to see some further posts. There is an amazing collection of Mack-International vintage trucks and assorted old vehicles at the Motor Transport Museum in Campo, CA. Highly recommend a visit when in the neighborhood. Thanks very much. These were shot with the 7D but I'd like to go back with the 5DII and get some full frame action.
I will definitely be going back there to get more of this stuff. Honestly, I barely scratched the surface. He has probably 60 trucks at least, many of them quite rare. Also a ton of blacksmithing tools and misc junk of every description. :) ................. Peter |
