The first of these shots is again inspired by 'Three Colours: Blue', from a scene in the cafe where 'Julie' is drinking coffee.

The second composition is also inspired by a movie – this time it’s ‘Kill Bill: Vol. 2’, in which ‘The Bride’ (Uma Thurman) visits Pai Mei (Gordon Liu) to learn the skills she will need as an assassin.

There’s a scene in this film where The Bride struggles desperately to eat rice with chopsticks – if only she’d had a set like these.

matt, cool macros... i've only seen kill bill (i & ii) but the reference/inpiration could have been kung fu ;D

Thanks all for your positive feedback, Im finding the composer easier to focus than th 3g with these macros. @Michael - that's my long term plan, just need to find the time to watch them!
