I think these weekly Lensbaby walks are good for the soul. They are energizing and freeing from the constraints of conventional photography. I will have to make it a point to do this regularly, it's going to be my "project 52", one week, one walk, at least one good image.

These were all taken at Blowing Rocks Preserve in Jupiter/Tequesta Florida with the Lensbaby Composer and plastic optic with f/2.8 aperture. Some shots had the close up lens, some the wide angle, and some the telephoto.

One more, I think maybe the first of it's kind....Lensbaby stereogram! Cross your eyes to merge the two images into one. It's not as good as with a regular photo, but it works with the LB, and experimenting was fun. :)

This is a wonderful series. I especially like the second image.

Mark,
Great series and cutting edge technique - love it.
I agree that 7 looks better in B&W. Humour me and do the same to 5.

Cheers

Ok, here's my conversion. It's hit or miss with the filters, layers, and contrast to get the right look. I'm just learning B&W conversion. :)

Just noticed the JPG artifacts in the sky after posting, they don't appear in my 72dpi file or the original, just in the uploaded image. Hmmmm.

second image has the sepia and warming filter layers added.

Mark,
You are quick,
Like 'em both but the sepia has the edge.
Cheers

I really like the stairs converted more than the color.

Mark,

I like them all very much. Good work with that plastic optic. Like you "52 project" concept. Good for the soul and body as well.
