Sounds crazy, but I've been wanting to photograph a snail and finally found one today for the first time in my five years living here. I captured it with my Original Lensbaby with macro. Exciting times!

Wow - that's gorgeous it looks like an ornament. I love how the light falls onto the shell of the snail, and making his body almost translucent. :)

Great shot, well caught with the light. It's hard to believe, but they move so damned fast when you're trying to catch them!

You know it! I thought it would be easy but this little guy just kept moving out of frame before I could find the sweet spot. |
