Found this little fella at a local market this morning, Bulbaphyllum Rothschildianium, native of India, couldn't resist,thought I'd better get my partner something to, also. Smells faintly of rotting fish, couldn't figure out why my Rotty was walking around with her nose in the air.

Thank you guys . This flower is not quite what it seems. This afternoon I thought I'd give it another go. To my surprise it had caught a fly. It has fangs and impales the fly on the with it's tongue. Notice flower on the right with it's mouth open . Almost looks like a lion up close.
Fascinating ! These are jpgs out of camera, haven,t looked at raws yet.
