These were a few of a dandelion in my yard this morning. I used the Nikon D-200, Composer, Double Glass, 75mm enlarging lens attached to the front. Thanks for looking.

Great stuff. I've got a lot of "glass" around here, enlarging lenses, view camera lenses, etc. Have been working on testing with these added to the LB.
Again, very nice images here.

Fun pics, well executed.
I'm wondering how on earth you attached the enlarging lens. Seems like I've one of those around here too!

Don,
It is something Shurla shared on the forum. You epoxy a 37-40.5mm step up ring to the enlarging lens and it simply screws into the front of the Lensbaby like a filter. Thanks Ol' Don and Darkslide for the kind words.

David,
I love to look at seeded dandelion images -- and these are the best I think I have seen. The colors you have captured are amazing in these images!

Thanks Rich, the color in the background is the leaves from daisies that will bloom later! Of course I will photograph them as you know.

David,
I especially like the middle shot. The inside of the dandelion almost looks like it's filled with a fluid and you could float inside it.
Looks like you'll be inspiring a few people to grab a tube of epoxy and see what kind of lenses to create.

nice series - I especially like the middle image best, also.

These are beautiful.
I've seen a few dandies around but very small. I can't wait to give it try!
Cheers!

Hey David,
Hope you don't mind me posting on your thread. I thought it
was too funny, I just saw your dandelions post when I got back from lunch. You'll never believe but I was taking pictures of dandelions today with my 75m enlarging lens and composer , isn't that funny. f stop @ 22, exposure 1/100, iso 100.
Hope you don't mind.

Thanks all for the kind words again. Of course you can add to the thread Shurla, you are the inspiration for the stacking in the first place. Thanks.

Stunning. I wish I could do that. Nicely done, David.

Thanks again for the kind comments. I was PMing the other day and thought how cool it would be to add more dandelions to the thread so we can see the progression of spring across the lands.

These are from early June of '08.
Did all kinds of things wrong here:
-Shot directly into the sun.
-Used the Origianl LB--some might see that as "wrong" due the obvious chromatic aberrations (which I LOVE).
-Had Three Macro Lenses attached (yet more Un-Coated Chromatic Yumminess).
-Heck, half the time I didn't even have my eye on the view-finder!
Thanks to David for allowing this Dandy Lion Thread Invasion!
