Here are a couple random shots. The apples were shot with the composer, single optic, at f2. The LaSalle shot with the LBO.

These have a great crusty ttv/old-school feel to them. Any differences of note (visually) between the LBO and single-optic with the composer? I'm still goin' it with LBO and 3G...

Both are nice but I really, really, really like the apple shot.
Did you use a texture in Photoshop? Ol' Don Life is expensive, but includes a free trip around the sun! |

I used 2 textures actually. The first texture I used had a mesh/screen type of texture. I like what it did to that tones, but I didn't like the mesh, so i used a gaussian blur only on the texture layer, which gave me that muddy beige tone look you see dominating the image. The 2nd texture layer was really only for creating an imperfect border. The border frames are TTV overlays I have downloaded and gathered in my "textures" folder. I recently purchased an old Graflex 22-200 TLR camera. I am going to start exploring real TTV shots with that and somehow incorporate the lensbaby with that. |
