OK Babies get ready 3...2....1...Action!

Taking a cue from the Oscars, the 18th Challenge is "Action!" - If it moves shoot it, if its standing still, maybe you can make it come to life.

Photo Submissions:

1. Camera - Any Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the judge will decide if it works.
4. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & Lensbaby used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have FUN!

One challenge every week, on the following schedule:

* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends-9pm (West Coast Time Baby)friday March 2,2009
* Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.

And the winner of Speed Challenge #19 is........ (drum roll)

My first time as a photo judge by the way.

"Locomotion" by PeerB533! Just a real nice LB image I can't tell if the train is moving or not, probably not roght? but I like the movement in the photo. Nice Action. Wish I had a locomotive like that to shoot.

Runner Up is "Down the Hill" by kmac, Really could have gone either way for me, with 1 and 2.

Third place is a tie with Flight and Strike,

Now sports illustrated will be buying a few lensbabies for their action photographers for sure.

Honorable mention goes to everyone else, Thanks for playing, and now someone is taking the mic from my hands and the music is starting to ..................

Thanks Soren. The engine was moving but only slowly as it pulled out of the station at Grosmont on the North York Moors Railway.
