The 12th competition is REPETITION. We all know that repetitive patterns work well with the Lensbaby. Time to get creative and show us what you've got!
Photo Submissions:
1. Camera - Any Camera
2. Time - any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Post-Processing - do whatever you like and the judge will decide if it works.
4. Posting - * ONE PHOTO per photographer in each challenge.* Photo Name in the message subject line.* Camera model & Lensbaby used.* Notes -- post brief EXIF data including ISO, shutter speed and aperture used.
6. Commenting - No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner has been declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Have FUN!
One challenge every week, on the following schedule:
* New Topic - After winner is declared.
* Posting Starts - Right after topic is announced.
* Posting Ends - 9pm EST (eastern) Friday January 2, 2009
*Winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
* Winner from this competition decides the theme of the next one (and judges it for a winner) after this competition is closed.
Good Luck!

Ok.... Sorry for the delay. After looking at the photos many times....
The winner is......
DarkSlide with "Going up, and up, and up!"
I really like the B&W treatment and consistent repetition of the windows. Cropping to avoid the bare top right corner would make it even stronger.
Honorable mention to:
David Morel - really like the subject and classic use of rule of thirds. The bare bottom left corner and top right corner detract from the otherwise cool shot.
Darrell M. - I like this shot as well. It has a well placed sweet spot and B&W treatment. A higher angle on the spiral would strengthen the shot.
I would love to give each of you comments but time this weekend is limited. If there is time later this weekend I will add comments. Thank you all for participating and please continue to enter these challenges. I am just one judge of many and the competition is tough.
Sincerely,
Joby Brunjes
